From Jane's WW2 Aircraft Fact Files (1976):

Five prototypes XF4U4 with R2800, 2100hp Double Wasp engine: four with four-blade Hamilton-Standard propeller, and just one XF4U4 with six-blade Aero Products contraprop, 3,84m diameter, for performance and vibration survey, between 6 june and 22 august 1945. At 26,000ft max speed was 10mph less than with the standard four-blade prop, and climb-rate at sea-level was inferior by 300ft/min.

No further mention is made of what happened to this aircraft. Maybe you should check with Aerofiles.com, there is a complete US list with service and serialnumbers....

The R-4360-4, 28 cilinder 3000hp Wasp Major engine was used in the Goodyear Corsair (bubble canopy) aircraft F2G-1, F2G-2, just 10 build total.
Performance (Jane's) :
2400 hp at 13,500 ft
max.speed 435 mph
service ceiling 38,800 ft
rate of climb 4,400 fpm
normal range 1,190 mls
