i had a dream last night
that the songs never ended
every note ran clear in my mind
and my thoughts were clear
and i have killed
and i will kill again
again
again
of course
but if there is no tomorrow?
how ever can those that are mortal say again
with assurance?
how can we immortals say never
with assurance?
and still the song play clear in my mind
as the same as the thoughts
we that are immortal
are we immortal
once i was mortal
but i have already died
and perhaps when i kill i die
so if i have died
can i be immortal?
and when i kill
and i will kill
will i die
in a sense?
in pure darkness you cannot see
but in pure light you also cannot see
how can darkness be considered evil
when it is no more different that light
and the song runs clear through my mind
as if it is never ended
and perhaps even among immortals
immortality is only true in song
