Subject: Bears around my house

When I was 16yrs old my mom and dad were gone camping at a local campgrounds leaving me home by myself, which was just fine for me being 16. The darkness of night came around and it is unusually warm outside for nightime. Being relaxed and excited to be by myself, I decided to watch some tv. After around 30 mins of doing this, a electrical storm emerges, the wind kicks up and I remember what I call lightening flashes but I don't remember the thunder that accompanies lightening, just the flash of lightening. And then the electricity goes out leaving me in darkness except for the flashes of lightening. So now I'm getting a nervous and so I start hunting around in the flashes of lightening looking for a flashlight which I found. As I passed the sliding glass door I swear I remember seeing bears outside wandering outside my house. This is the strangest sight because eventhough I'm live in the country, the bears never come in close to the houses and never more than one if they did. In fact other than this night I have never seen a bear my whole 13 years living in this house. Totally frightened of seeing these bears around my house I ran into the hallway and hide in the middle, as the lightening lit up the hall. The hallway is the only place that has no windows. I don't remember anything else after this, just being in the hall afraid with the flashlight. There is nothing, a void of missing space and time.
