You're lucky to have shows so close that Colin participates in. Colin is one person I'd like to see more often, but with Whose Line no longer taping, he doesn't come to LA that often anymore. It was great when he was in town for tapings because he'd join everyone at the Improv. At least he was in Vegas, Tahoe for one day and did the Pacific Northwest tour, and it was nice to see him there. I also enjoy traveling to the shows. I've seen lots of places I've never seen before. I got back from Wash and Canada a couple of weeks ago and loved it there. I can see why Ryan wants to live there!

I've gone into withdrawals since the guys went on hiatus from the Improv, but at least I can go see Chip at the Groundlings and Greg performs in clubs in LA all the time. Greg will be at the HW Improv in July, and Brad and Dave are in Ontario (Calif not Canada) next weekend, and then the DCS starts taping again in Aug, so the guys will be back at the Improv.

I don't think Ryan's going to do that anytime soon. My sister-in-law has a similar fear of flying, and she takes drugs before getting on a plane, which seems to work for her. At least she says it does. I'll be flying with her in Oct for the first time, so we'll see how it goes. I'm not afraid to fly, but I have the same philosophy as you do. If the plane is going to go down, I hope it's on the way back from wherever I was going.

Do you see other improv in the Boston area? I imagine there are several talented improv troops in your city. I love to go see improv in some of the small theaters in LA. I've seen some fabulous improv troops and shows over the years (as well as some that are painfully bad), and after seeing so much live improv it definitely makes me see Whose Line from a different perspective.
