From seeing them live I can tell you that they work together as a team with no one person being the "Star". One or another may seem to take more control in the actual management of the show (and you can usually tell who is moving it along) but they all work together during the scenes as a team.

One of the big advantages of seeing the live shows is to see the different pairings. Chip and Brad doing a duet together was just great. Jeff and Sean doing styles (live show equivalent of Film TV and Theater Styles) just had me falling off my seat and watching Julie and Ryan doing Sentances (Whose Line) was just amazing. Of course, I am partial to one particular pairing for one particular game - no one can compare to Ryan and Colin doing Greatest Hits together. The back and forth flow between them is almost mindless. Colin and Greg can do it to a lesser extent. Ryan and Greg together doing Greatest Hits just doesn't seem to really gel.
