the remanufactured head i ordered comes with a Fel-Pro headgasket (that i also paid for). but after i ordered everything, i was looking on www.thedodogegarage.com and he flat out says the Fel-Pro headgaskets suck. so, should i just take the loss of $50 on the Fel-Pro and get a Mopar headgasket? if so, where can i get a Mopar one?

You can get the MP head gasket through Relentless Performance for $16. Was the Fel Pro one really $50? Wow that seems like a lot.

With replacing the head gasket being such a big job on our cars. I'd play it safe & get a MP gasket. Should be able to get one at the local dealer. $16.00 anywhere you check.

I don't know about how they do on turbo cars but fel-pro is usually top of the line for high compression performance cars, second only to the Mr. Gasket metal head gaskets. Forced induction is probably a whole different story with those head gaskets though!

Go to thedodgegarage.com. The link for Relentless is at the top of the page.
