Isn't the body of your car in perfect shape? I can't really remember how the spoiler was mounted on the '86 Daytona I had, but you might have to drill some holes... As far as the way it looks, I like it. I had the spoiler painted black on the '86 (white car) and it looked good. It's your car man. if you like it, then I say go for it, it's just the drilling holes part...:-(
