I got the lowest score of anybody in a drill I participated in--back in the eighties--I'm quite good if I have something to rest the rifle on--like a car door or something----but if I hold the firearm--without that I'm hopeless--anyway I only just passed the course--I learn't the seven principles of shooting--which include a term I think called I.A.C.I.S.
I have been trained (woefully so) with a Ruger .22 rifle--bullets travel at 3.600 feet per second.
A basic shotgun.
And a Smith and Wesson--.38 revolver--with the rifle I learn't how to dissasemble it then assemble it.
