WELL, I guess this is a toughy. Unfortunatley without a decoy it is very difficult to train ring. However, there is a solution. I have many times trained with myslef as the decoy with my own dog and had my wife handle the dog. Also if you do not have a suit, but do have a leg sleeve you can still train ALL of the exercises by using the leg sleeve. You can teach the dog to bite both the legs and the arms with a leg sleeve. I use a leg sleeve a lot on my arm to teach inner arm bites high in the arm pit. I have also tought the dog a defense of handler with a leg sleev, guards, escort, etc. The problem is that it is important that you continually switch the sleeve from leg to leg and arm to arm.
Basically if I did not have a decoy this is what I would try. You can also train the dog on a tie out if you have experience. The reason why I say experience is because you do not want to cause defense in the dog. Tiening out a dog can sometimes do this if you have a crazy dog. My first sugestion would be the way I discribed it in the beginning.

Thats what I can come up with for now if I think of anything else I will write it.

John
