Subject: 2005 trial schedule

The GTR (Groupe Travail Ring, the governing body of Ring in France) is wanting us to have our (NARA's) trial calendar set for 2005 and turned in by THE END OF NOVEMBER. I cant really tell you how important this is to get done. Here is the info that we need from each trail-giving club:

NAME OF CLUB
DATE
TRIAL LOCATION
PERSON RESPONSIBLE
TELEPHONE # or EMAIL
WHAT LEVELS WILL BE OFFERED
JUDGE (this can be left blank for now)
When you do figure out who the judge or decoys will be get that in to NARA so that we can start with the trial authorization process. This DOES NOT replace the trial authorization process.
This is the info that they need for the calendar. I know it is not what NARA clubs are used to. The last minute stuff seems to be over. My guess is that up until the past month or so, no one in the GTR knew or really cared what happened over here in Ring... NOW they do. If we want Ring to be here in the US, and we want to "play with the big boys", this is what needs to happen. We need to step up to the plate, and show them that YES, the US IS ready for the real deal.

I have sent this same basic email to the zone reps, instructing them to contact the President/Club contact person in ALL the NARA clubs to retrieve this information. The zone reps are responsible to get this information, and get it back to the NARA Board of Directors, so that we can put it in a spreadsheet and send it off to France. Please get together with your clubs members, club presidents, trial planners, and think about it over the next week or two. Then the zone reps will be calling/emailing for the information.
