Passerby, logically you make perfect sense. But unless you were taken in by Maria, you have no idea how seriously she violated the persons who innocently befriended her.
This girl would call daily, a few times a day, completly lying about her day-to-day happenings in her make believe world. Though the idea of her being a VP of a record company and ex-model does sound like a lie in itself, when you are told about it continually, you beleive it. She has MANY stories.
I'd like to think that we are well-educated, have good jobs, and are decent human beings. And we were too trusting.
We've learned, but we won't forget. And that's a reason I keep this board up.
This board is revisited with Maria warnings because as the previous poster said, we worry she'll sucker other posters from boards that are not aware of her. They can loose money and trust,and take an emptional toll. And if you know someone in hockey or any hockey information, she'll try to use you for that, also. She is known by NHL security, for Pete's sake.
In the end, when she's been found out, she does threaten you.
Im glad that this board can be updated with warnings about Maria - it shows that posters are being more aware of what is out there. Wheather it is her, or not.
