I think the AHL boys are definitely more accessible/approachable, but I've met more than a few who are waaayyy too uppity that they're "professional hockey players" (even if they've never played a single game in the NHL).

The vast majority of the guys, AHL or NHLers, are just appreciative to actually get paid to play a game they love (Matt Bradley, Bates Battaglia, Dan Cloutier). But there are always the jerks who ruin that perception... like Jaromir Jagr, John (Evgeny) Nabokov, Ramzi Abid, or Brantt Myhres.
