All--all right. *She steps back and bops the stone with her nose. In a flash of light, she is once more a the striking girl of around eighteen. Her body is curved and beautiful. Her softly glowing bronze hail flows smoothly to her narrow waist. Her gentle brown doe-eyes grow calmer and she manages a quick smile. Then, out of the corner of her eye she sees a flash of gold, and the stone zooms away from where it had been floating. Surprised, she rushes to the edge of the mountain and watches as it speeds down into their territory. It stops near Glory and floats above his head for a few minutes. She sees him awake and stare into space for a bit. Then he jumps to his feet, and the stone vanishes. A deep voice says softly in Gem's head,* The colt will be all right now. He has been told to look to you and your mate as a mother and father. *She nods slightly and sees her son shaking himself, looking around, and then lying down and going back to sleep. The young woman steps over to the mountainside and feels a small green plant slowly with her fingers. It is wondrous, and she smiles at Starz, her eyes shining.* You were right--this is amazing. *Then she pauses and bites her lip.* Maybe we should change our names? *Then she thinks of something else, and her hand flies to her mouth in shock.* Oh my god! Starz, we have to get out of here right now!! Humans are strictly forbidden from entering this county! If we don't move it, anyone could see us, and that would be chaos! *She moves swiftly to the edge of the cliff and cups her hands around her mouth. She imitates a mare nickering to her foal, and feels frustrated by the oddly small sound she makes. Luckily, the foal has good ears, and he wakes and starts trotting to meet them. She turns, grabs her mate's hand, and they take off at a sprint down the mountain trail.*
