Here are the updates from the owners as to the status. He's posted these over the last couple days, keep trying to get on, people are getting back a little at a time.

2/4/04:
Let me explain what happened this morning. We had to change the DNS server addresses and did not change in time for the 12:00 NOON EST DNS database replication that happens all of the world. So some of you have not noticed anything different. Some of you could not see a thing at your work computer but got home and can see Guns Network and some unfortunately cannot see a thing and this is why I am posting this so those who have been offline can understand what happen in the last 24 hours.

Once midnight comes on the Eastern Time zone and give it 10 to 15 minutes or so then everyone should be able to come on in. That is when the DNS databases replicate through out the world.

I am sorry for this inconvenience but it was something that had to happen and we tried to meet the noon deadline and missed it by 5 minutes. So now we won't be completely up for eveyone else until midnight tonight and then maybe not for those in the middile east & asia until 6 AM there time.

Well now I am being told most members on the east coast cannot see until 5:30 am est and not midnight.

God I hate this

Sorry for all the mess!

Keep in mind this DNS server address is the biggest fuck up since the internet. That is just my humble opinion.

I don't fully understand the details behind this but just know we have been very concerned and have been having a few people in the know working with us in the last 24 to 36 hours.

We believe we have the right set of DNS server addresses in or else some of you who have not been on would not be here still.

If it does appear we have the right set then we should have no more problems for now.

2/6/04:
Here is the latest update, we had the right addresses in the first time and some dumb ass convinced me we had the wrong ones.

Sooooooooooooo I reluctently changed to the wrong DNS addresses yesterday but the changes did not happen until after 1 pm CST. Then after everyone got back on yesrterday midday then it changed again back to the white screen where you saw the DNS error due to the dumb ass telling me I had the wrong DNS. So we had to wait another freaking 12 to 24 hours for it to go back to the corrected DNS addresses. Think God for Adam's company getting us back online with the correct DNS server addresses. So at 2:00pm CST yesterday, I changed back to the first DNS Address that Adam gave me so hopefully at 2:00 pm CST today everything will be back to normal for most but there will be some lingering due to the ISP's replication every 36 hours.

I know this sounds confusing but you have no lidea what my head feels.

That person who gave me the wrong DNS is on my SHIT LIST, never to get off of it.

dman4384, you are 100% right! We know all about it now and some changes are about to happen where we will be able to control the TTL. You are very much right and that is already at the top of the list once we have taken a breather
