Dear Jackie..
It's NOT going to be OK. I hate to tell you that but you know this in your heart. Please email me and read all the stories under your story about women who regret their abortion. Also post on this board http://www.voy.com/66018/
and you will get some responses. Email me today if possible.

Dear Jackie,

Hang in there, it's always darkest before the dawn! I really feel for you - if you look at the two children you already have, could you have aborted either one of them? Can you pick one you would no longer want & one you would keep? You also have to look 20 years down the road and think out what that will be like. Maybe you're better off without either guy in your life right now and just focusing on you and your children. Somewhere down the road one or the other is bound to come to his senses. I can tell you this, nearly 100% of the time an abortion wrecks a relationship like nothing else. So, that's not the answer, no matter what the "Daddy" thinks right now (yeah, like maybe he's thinking child support payments for 18 years). So, hang tough - there's help out there for you - you can check this website for a center near you that will provide baby clothes/supplies and emotional support (most all of them will have that - but not all):

http://www.pregnancycenters.org/locate.html

If you have some supportive family memebers, stick close to them and lean on them to get you through this time. There's another lady that posts here named Tanya and if you go back and read some of her posts it may help you. She was in a somewhat similar situation - she had a b/f that was adamant she not have his baby - but she saw it through and now he's so in love with that child, and so is Tanya.

You can email if you'd like to "talk" some more! I'm glad you posted here, you will find support from the others that are here.

Kris

Jackie,

I talked awhile back with a woman who was worried about how her husband would react to her having someone else's baby. I encouraged her to tell him and see how he reacted. Much to my surprise, he totally accepted the child as his own!

I realize that not every husband will react that way. But it is not wise to try to second-guess what your husband will do. Try to prepare the situation as much as you can, and go to him humbly and tell him. If you need help, contact a crisis pregnancy agency, and they can help you with this.

You have said you don't want to kill this baby. Think about that. Please. Do you see yourself as a killer? What if you do it, and then look back on it and experience horror at what you have done? Abortion is forever; you can't take it back. So many women would give anything to be able to make that decision again. You still have the opportunity to protect your baby. That is priceless. Don't throw it away!

Hugs,

Pat

Please email me so we can talk more. When I said it's NOT going to be ok, I meant if you have an abortion, it will NOT make things ok. Go to http://www.pregnancycenters.org
and find a local place to get some advice and support. And write me as soon as possible.
