I encourage you to work through your grief - it's not easy - but it's critical to healing your soul and heart MO. Get a journal and start writing your feelings down and that's just for you - no one else needs to see it. You just need to work it all out.
You say you were raised in the church, I encourage you to go back. We all need a God connection - and that's where you'll find it.
