Dear Lilly,

I applaud you for trying to work through your grief. Often times, people do destructive things to self-medicate, like drug abuse, alcholism, etc. You are choosing to heal. That's wonderful.

The only way I know to get through the loss of someone you love so much that you never got a chance to see or hold is to reconcile with God through Jesus Christ. Knowing that I am going to see those I love in Heaven helps me get through the grief of not having them now. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and believe in your heart that he was crucified for humanity and rose from the dead, you will be saved. God will forgive your sins and you can be assured of a joyous reunion with Gregory. I know it hurts in the meantime, but knowing that those I love are going to be waiting for me when I die and that we will have a beautiful eternity together helps pull me through.

Do I still cry? All the time. Do I still miss them? More than I can explain, but Earth is just temporary. I can get through it knowing that I have an amazing future with those I love.

I hope this helps. Please email me if you'd like to talk. jacquefromtexas@yahoo.com. Take care, Lilly. I'll be praying for you.

-Jacqueline
