I think Arriva and N+D could do a few trades, as N+D want double deckers and alot of the Arriva double decker routes could be sustained with single decker options which i'm sure Trent have in huge numbers.

Optare solo's are built on two chassis using Mercedes and Cummin's engines (Cummin's I believe is used by Darts), I think the Trent barton Solos use Mercedes engines as they sound familiar to the Arriva "breadvans".

Theres a interesting photography site which contains photographs of the B and C reg citybus's, interestingly the B reg examples came with different seats and the C reg examples had a different front grille.
