I get it to be 11 years old...methodology as follows: (Discounting driver trainers, but including school buses). Take the number of vehicles for each age band and multiply these together. eg: GTO 301 V is 27 years old - only 1 bus that old so 27 x 1 = 27. 5 B reg vehicles at 22 years old so 5 x 22 = 110. 5 C reg vehicles at 23 years old so 5 x 21 = 105. Continue this througout the fleet and then total all the figures in the right hand column (Total Age = 1229 years) Divide this by number of vehicles in fleet (106) and you get average age of 11.59434 years old.
