My point was to respond to earlier posts elsewhere on this board and on the national board that imply that this year is a 2-way race between Jordan and Caylynn. Personally, I like both of them a lot and think they are both clearly strong contenders. But the ultimate point is, you can't look at CA from the perspective of late September, and declare 2 contestants the only possible winners. That's why I gave the examples of other years when the actual winner wasn't on anyone's radar at this point. I don't want girls feeling like competing this year is hopeless because the outcome is predetermined. I didn't intend to hurt or humiliate Caylynn or Jordan in any way, and I apologize if either of them read this and took it that way. -- Miss California Unofficial Message Board
