When you meet her you feel like you've known her for years. I love that she has accomplished so much and still is so humble and down to earth. You can tell a lot about someone's character when their name is called for Miss California, and how the fellow contestants react. Date Posted: 10:33:40 02/14/14 Fri Crystal almost star-struck me when I met her. haha It is amazing to me how one person can be so intelligent, talented, speak multiple languages, be a ballerina, promote S.T.E.M., AND be one of the most normal people I've ever met. Whenever I'm faced with someone talking about pageant stereotypes, I instantly bring up Crystal and all of her accomplishments. "Amazing" doesn't even begin to cover it. She is a friend to all, an inspiration, and a true pride to the Miss California Organization. Every person, including her competitors, know she is the perfect choice to represent California.
