I was reading an article from A-P Magazine (somebody had scanned in into a Rancid Forum) and apparently Brody called Tim from Australia and just said that she was leaving him, totally out of the blue like. What a fucking gutless bitch, to end your marriage over the phone? Real fucking classy that! The rest of the piece on Rancid is really good, as it goes into a lot of the problems that all of them have had to deal with. Lars in particular has had things tough in recent years with his wife leaving him, the death of two family members and fucking up his back. It talks a lot about the new album too and how Tim wrote seven songs immediately after Brody left him, most of which written in the middle of the night because he can't sleep anymore.

Granted, Brody isn't your average street hooker, (she doesn't have to go on the streets asking for business) she just likes sucking corporate dick and i guess that is how they got signed to a major. A lot of prostitutes go on the game to finance their drug habits - Brody has a drug habit and is no different. I guess with Hellcat she couldn't score real good drugs and being married to Tim (with his ANTI-DRUG stance) was cramping her style, so she's gone and found herself a new pimp in the form of Josh Homme. The worst thing about it is that she is parading it (and her new Courtney Love image) in mainstream music publications such as Entertainment Weekly and Rolling Stone and no doubt earning her more drug money - this is why i see her as a whore. Shame then that teenage girls see Brody as some kind of role model and something to aspire too. Sure she is a good musician, but as a person, she is really horrible. I bet she has no friends anymore except for The Distillers, Courtney Love, Shirley Manson, Josh Homme's buddies and her bosses at Time Warner.

Another anti-Brody rant from me! You people must be sick of this, hehe.
