Shifting a little, he rested his elbows on his knees, one hand running slowly through his short dark hair. Why did he come back? Because that's just what he did. He screwed things up, and then he came around to fix them - or hopefully fix them. He was just lucky enough that thus far in his life he had gotten away with most things he had messed up.
