I was an RAF Police corporal at Akrotiri at this time and attended the crash. The aircraft crashed and burned on the North Ridge. Never have I seen such lurid obscene flames. The crew were still in their ejector seats and the young lad on the 'jolly' was in the nose. I felt sorry for the armourer who had to de-activate the seats
