yes Richard, very little on the web re Changi, I do know that the RAF Changi Association have a very large archive department but it isn't on the web.

One of those Kiwi Vibrators was still flying in Canada until recently, I believe it is NZ5910 ?? and is in some museum.

Hello, just been reminiscing about my time in Changi between 1965 and 68 (11 plus days) and 1969 to 1971 (end of an era) My father was Sgt Douglas Wittin who was in HQPR&SS, and was one of the very last personnel to close the gates on RAF Changi. We have very profound memories of our time there, still very fresh. Sailing at the yacht club, swimming lessons, brownies, guides and boats with the scouts!!! Wonderful, anyone out there who remembers that time? Lis

I Was posted to RAF Changi in April 1957, and served in Air Traffic Control. I returned to the UK in November 1958.
I have found this picture of myself and my friend Ann taken on the balcony of the Control Tower, which I have attached. The uniform was the dress in a sand colour, with black buttons, ankle socks, the same colour, and brown sandles on our feet. I seem to remember they were called chappies.
Hope this is useful. Sorry could not attach the photo
Regards
Marjorie Corbett

I am writing my autobiog at the moment and am writing about my first days as a WRAF at Changi. Finding it very difficult to get a pic of a tropical WRAF dress. I know we wore sandals, but cannot find them either.
By the way I run a Group on FB called British Joint Services: the Singapore Years if anyone interested.
