The Defense
The pallid equus jerked, given no time to reflect the attack. he hurled himself to his feet, once again persistantly nagged by the escalating pain in his forelimb. yet despite this, he still attempted to keep his trot suspended, as he was a naturally arrogant animal. he had not been prepared for the attack, so it hit him rather directly, yet, amazingly, the bones were not broken.
The Offense
he concluded that he would put little, if any, weight on the injured leg and he would do this by constant motion and taking most weight over his haunches. he contemplated a lunge, yet decided against it. he reared, forelimbs striking anguishedly at the pallid cranium of Crypt. however, he was impaired by the pain caused by the leg as he did not buck at the other, as such would have caused too much strain upon his legs. he then landed and kicked out with a single forelimb, hoping to catch the male in the center of the bone. if he made his mark, the bone might either shatter or be sprained. he had been fairly accurate. and if it had been successful, the leg would barely be able to sustain Crypts weight. Anymore would result in disaster. so he leapt, springing agilely onto Crypt's vertebrae. this could have two effects. either the vertebrae would be affected, or Crypt could collapse from the weight on the leg that Islidaur had just attempted to injure. html © dianna www.nshc.tk |
