I thought that A Raisin in the Sun gave out a good message to people. This play stated that you should never give up on your dreams, not matter how hard you have to work to achieve them. Walter and Beneatha kept working at their goals, even though in the end, Walter's dream was pretty much destroyed because he lost the insurance money. I hope that Beneatha finishes school and someday becomes a doctor.

I like how the author gave each character a personality that is real, something that we could relate to. I'm not really sure if this play is something that i would reccomend to my peers. While the rest of the story was fairly good, I didn't like the ending at all because Lorraine Hansberry didn't tell you what happened when the Younger family moved to Clybourne Park. I would have like to have known their new neighbors' reactions, and also their futures.

Some of my predictions did come true. I knew that something bad would happen to the insurrance money as soon as Mama gave it to Walter Lee. I thought that Ruth would end up having an abortion, but she decided against it.
I knew that the family would end up rejecting Lindner's offer, and they did. Overall, this book was pretty good, i just did not like the ending very much.
