Overall, I think A Raisin in the Sun was a wonderful play. In the beginning I thought that it was pretty boring, because it wasn't really holding my interest. But when incidents and situations started to boil, it got very exciting, and I began to enjoy it. My initial prediction of the ending of the book, was that the Youngers, in some way, would use the insurance money to benefit all the children/grandchildren in the same way. This happened, by buying the house in Clybourne Park. I also thought that Ruth would decide to have her baby, but we never found out anything further about that. I would definitely recommend this play to my peers, because not only is it exciting, but it teaches you to love your family, no matter what the circumstance. And I think that is a very good lesson to be learned. If you dont love your family, you have no one to care for, and no one to help you when you need to be helped. The final message that I got out of A Raisin in the Sun, was like I just said, to love your family, no matter what the circumstance. The relations with your family members are probably the most important you'll ever have in your entire life- dont lose them.
