After reading A Rasin in the Sun I think that I have a better understanding of what it was like to be a black person living on the east side of Chicago.When reading I tried to place myself in the characters shoes.Two of my bigest predictions were that Walter would own a liquor store and that Beneatha would go to collage and become a doctor. Walter owning a liquor store didn't come true but Beneatha becoming a doctor could still happen.I would recommened this book for any one that feels life is too hard and there dreams will never come true.The characters in the book never give up on there dream. I learned from reading this book that no matter how hard my life may get that my dream to be someone will never die. For I live each day for my dreams to come true.
