Let's all work together and make a great monster. First of all, I'd say that an undead monster would be the best choice. Of all the cards in the "Create a creature contest" that wizards did a while ago, I think the Netherlid was the best. It was a horrifying zombie with bits of fat and flesh still attached to him. How about this for an idea:

Gangreous Death

On first examination of this creature, you wouldn't think that it's a zombie. But under its black hooded cloak is a skeleton with flesh ripped off the right half of its face, and missing one eye. He wears a jet black cape. It flaps in the cold wind, at times revealing his thin skeletal legs and arms, still with bits of fat sticking to them. At the end of his arms are four fingers, each with claws radiating red at the tips. As it nears you, its eye seems to turn red. It makes no tracks as it moves along the ground. As it reaches you, it outstretches its hand and touches your forehead. You see visions of hell, and fall over in a heap on the floor. The skeleton cackles and turns away, then moves away silently, leaving no footprints. The Gangreous Death is off to steal the life of the next victim.

Ha! Why didn't I enter the create a creature contest? I think Gangreous Death is pretty well made :).

I'm sure you guys have other ideas, and I encourage you to share them. And if anyone wants to work off of this one, please do that too. And Gangreous Death might not be the best name, either. I can't really think of any good zombie names.
