As sms-ed, 2 issues here for your attention:

(1) Dinner with Ms Zarina on 30 Dec 2004
Juz talked to Ms Zarina on the phone. Some updates: she has moved to Bedok (Bayshore area), and she is teaching at Maha Bodhi Pri Sch. She's said that a dinner gathering on 30 Dec 2004 with us would be nice. Though she said that she can go anywhere in Singapore to meet us ("Woodlands also can!"), I think somewhere in town is better for the working professionals right? Pls sms, email or state if u are agreeable to the following proposal for a meet-up with Ms Zarina (and perhaps, Ms Chew May too):

Date: 30 Dec 2004 (Thu)
Time: 19:00
Venue: City (Orchard or City Hall... I'll go check out a Halal venue; got reccommendation, sms me.)

I'll post a list of who I'll or have contacted. U guys help to contact others who are not on the list (and INFORM me) if u are still in touch with them.

(2) Mama Africa Countdown Dinner on 31 Dec 2004
Ok... here's the difficult part... We want a countdown dinner at Mama right? Thought of combining Ms Zarina's dinner with the countdown BUT Mama is not Halal~~~ And Ms Zarina will prefer a weekday (27 and 28 out for her though).

Anyway, for the Mama countdown...
(i) Suling says that it may be better for us to start the dinner at 19:00 (for those who can make it) as the chef has requested to leave earlier. Anyone got problems with 19:00 ??? (I noe pple like Grace may only make it after 19:30 lah.)
(ii) Anyone who has any budget concern??? Coz Suling can see if she can make a buffet arrangement for us if we can confirm our attendance early. Meanwhile, ala-carte at Mama is affordable at S$10++ for a main course like chicken chop, sphagetti.
(iii) Suling and I will be ordering a cake from Tiramisutra for the countdown dinner.

So, pls consider points (i) and (ii), and voice your preferences.
