Subject: $10,000 to win Demo Derby!

Hey Guys-

The East Alabama Motor Speedway is hosting a $10,000 to win Demo Derby this 4th of July weekend. Our rules are based mainly on safety, allowing almost anyone to bring their car. $100 to enter and the $10,000 purse is based on a 100% payout to the winner. There will be no paydown, as judging 2nd and 3rd place in a demo is a tough call. 100% of the entry money is guaranteed to the winner!

East Alabama Motor Speedway is just outside Columbus, Ga and only a few miles from I-85. We're the host for the Alabama State Championships, and the National 100. These races see over 350 racers every year! Our grandstands seat 10,000, and during our regular $1,000 to win demos 50 or more cars sign up. Pre-registration just passed our all time demo record today. For the $10,000 to win demo we're shooting for 100 cars. Demo Derby Rules

-All doors must be welded or chained shut.
-Battery may be removed. Battery must be strapped down securely and covered if in the driver's compartment.
-Radiator may not be removed or moved. Fan blade may be changed or removed.
-No bracing allowed on front or rear bumper. Driver's door may be braced.
-Front windshield may be left in. All other glass must be taken out of cars - not broken out. Any car with glass pieces inside or glass anywhere will not be allowed to run.
-Seatbelts and helmet mandatory.
-Gas tank may be moved forward in trunk, but must be behind rear firewall. Gas tank must be strapped down securely.
-All headlights and taillights must be removed.
-No "laying low" or "hiding" during the demo. Any car not hitting another car or not moving for over 60 seconds will be disqualified.
-All calls by the judges and flagman are final and not open to question.

We have a FUN racetrack and host big races every Saturday night. Come on out and show these fans what a real demo derby looks like!
