First of all I want to say thank-you to you kind hearted
ladies for helping the young and aging "dyslexic people"
as one of you said 80% of dyslexic people experience auditory discrimination problems. Braile methiods seems like a possible alturnitive for the dyslexic child coded
with a 504 plan in place at a very early stage only. Language acquisition occures at a very early stage
of development only so only dyslexic children identified
very early say by ages 2-3 years should recieve this in

depth training with parental understanding and possible
training for communications purposes. And yes the other
20% of dyslexic people need help also. The most important
fact to note about us is that we are people just like
everyone else. We are your brothers and sisters we want
to have the same rights as everyone else. We most of all want an education. I have a BA and a masters degree
and now I thinking of a dotoral degree. The degree I would
seek would be in Learning disabilities awarness.
Talk soon Mrs. Joanne Longley Med.
