And this may sound corny but, I wrote a phonetic dictionary for my daughter because her spelling, by the time she was in high school, was still way too much of a load for her (as it was for my friends too). So she asked me to write a dictionary which spelled words the way they sound (dyslexics are very phonetic, they think language should have letters which match their sounds...how silly and logical of them!). Anyway, it's on Android now and iPhone soon. American Wordspeller (designed just for dyslexics) and it's cheaper than the book! But let me know and I can provide you a discount on that book (I am close and personal with the publisher)if they want one. Eventually they will memorize spellings (except for 218 common words).
