I have a son going to grade 6 ,he was diagnosed in grade 3. I myself have the problem . I got outside help after school ( at a dyslectic school as and outside pupil) and kept him with his friend, been around your age peer group is very important for socializing and sport. Doing programs after school is difficult but worked for us,as long as you child has a good work ethic and you have the time to be with him all the way. For me the positive point was I understood how his brain works and I could teach him all my tools I developed over the years.

Regard
Gill
