Subject: I want more people that have type one diabetes in my life

 My insulin pump died on me about 2 months ago, I'm currently unemployed, struggling to get medical coverage through the county, my sugars have been all over, I'm watching my body change and feel very out of balance. There's more however, i feel toooo tired to go on about it. I'm seeking an alternative lifestyle, diabetic camps, support groups, spiritual centers... Do you have any ideas?

If you are a teen, the Joslyn Center in Boston has camps for both girls and boys who have diabetes. I have heard that they are great. The Mass. area also has a few really good Holistic centers that offer yoga ect. But the most important thing is to control the sugars. If your pupm died 2 months ago, What are you using to monitor your and administer insulin now? Talk with your Dr. to see if they know of any ways that you can get a monitor until you can get the pump again. Hope all goes well again.
