As quickly as she could she climbed up the walls to the window. When she got there she did not have much trouble getting out. The rock had smashed all the bars completely through. The next step was getting out of the vermin camp. She waited, standing in the shadows. When she saw her chance she grabbed it, darting behind the slave pens. While she was hurrying along, she heard part of a conversation between two of Goldenblade's guards that had dropped out of the fight. "I thought ol' Goldenblade said that'n we was going to capture Redwall.""Nah" said the other, "he'd rather be fightin' Badclaw's bunch." Redwall! Redwall! She repeated it over and over again. It sounded like a good place. The guards went on and on about how peaceful the woodlanders who lived in it were. Then one of them said "He'll probably start after he's finished this lot off." Suddenly she made up her mind. She must find Redwall and warn them of the danger. But she had no idea where it was! First she must get out of the vermin camp.
