I have the utmost respect for Mike and his achievements. For me he has been one of the most influential people in how I write music myself. I stand corrected if you are right in your assertion than the boy Stock has indeed turned down publishers, as one would expect from a man who believes in his integrity. I for one would love him to release his autobiography, whether it be on a par with the works of Alfred Lord Tennyson or otherwise.

Whilst on the subject of books, for all you scholarly boys and girls, who like me can't stomach fiction, may I recommend John Gray's "Straw Dogs". The book examines what it is to be human in terms of our own perceptions and assumptions.
