I have never heard the "excellent shanghai surprise mix". Be interesting to know what clubs this is going down well in and to know how different this mix is from the radio edit. Is it recognisably the same song.

You state that you can't have better product awareness than the food chains mentioned. I agree that these all have strong product awareness, but as convenience food, something that is purchased a a substitute to 'proper' food. A product such as a book or a toy, associated with the other releases (Teletubbies, Bob the Builder) referenced in my previous message, is an investment, quite often seen a s a positive investment in childs development.

As for the fact that this has been released in Europe, as you state, I have not heard one person come back ands recommend this track. If it is a hit in the European clubs, then is this because it has a good dance mix, like the aforementioned "Shanghai Mix". Will people recognise the radio edit. Previous European releases have been dance tracks, where the radio edit differs minimally from the club mix. I really can't believe that this is the case with FFR.

Your right that great acts start off with one hit, but I have no idea where this group can go with a follow up. If BTD is too make money, they need to invest in some acts with album potential.
