Belated thanks!

I just wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you who were so wonderful to Hurtle and I as we waited, in vain, for the GM to show up and conduct our wedding last Friday. A very special thank you to Twyynke, who stepped up at the very last minute and agreed to help by officiating over our makeshift ceremony.
I petitioned the next day and gave the GMs a piece of my very unhappy mind. The official response... "There is never a guarantee that a GM will show up to an EQ wedding". My response to that was - it SURE would have been nice if one of the guides we spoke to had warned us of that possibility. We would have been more prepared. I had worked SO hard to try to have a real, honest to goodness, Norrathian wedding - and instead it was a major fiasco!
But, all of you really helped make it a little more fun and a lot more memorable.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
And, for any of you planning on marrying in the future... be forewarned! You can't count on a GM showing up. "Things happen" and you may have to be creative to make it happen.
