Subject: Athletic Bio

Hello fellow classmates. My name is Jared Stuart and I am a fifth year senior completing my last 12 credits here at the University of Maryland. I grew up playing baseball and football as a kid, and then on into High School. My baseball abilities were good enough to catch the attention of division 1 colleges, which landed me here at UMD. I pitched here at Maryland for the last 4 years and loved every minute of it. A huge part of my life is gone now that I am attending school for the first time as a regular student. As a Junior, I was pitching the best baseball of my life with admirations of someday playing professionally. However, going into my senior season, my arm could not take all of the throwing between the long college season and summer ball. I develeoped a severe case of RC tendinitis which resulted in a poor senior season. As a result, as far as competition goes, I am done with sports, atleast for the minute. In other words, I will continue to love and follow sports for the rest of my life.
