Subject: Introduction

Hello everyone, I am excited about this class and to learn how this messageboard discusses certain sport related topics. To start off with, I am a senior kinesiology major and sports has always been a big part of my life. I was raised on being an leisure participate at Yankee games, watching my older brother play numerous sports, and also my parents always insisted on staying active and being healthy. I love watching any sport and also participating in any sport. I have played soccer for since I was 5 years old and have a lengthy soccer resume. I did go to college on a soccer scholarship and played for Long Island University, before I transferred here. I have also played internationally in Holland and Ireland. These experiences not only helped me in my soccer training, but showed how different countries have so much passion for certain sports, almost like they are sacred. It has also shaped me in a way of truly enjoying watching certain sporting events and knowing what is going on around me. Even though I am collegiately playing soccer anymore, I still train and workout for health reasons, play club soccer and intramurals, and after I graduate, get into speed climbing. I love being involved in any sport and seeing the world as an active participate whether playing or watching.
