Subject: athletic bio

My name is Mike Miller and I’m a junior here at Maryland who recently switched from Biology to Kinesiology. After college I hope to find a job in the fitness industry such as a strength coach or health club owner. I have been an active participant in athletics since the age of seven and have played just about every popular American sport out there in some various organized form including soccer, baseball, football, basketball, swimming and wrestling. In high school I played football and baseball and also wrestled. I was also a walk-on inside linebacker for the Maryland football team until last month when I left the team. Now that I no longer compete I am strictly a leisure participant as I regularly weightlift, run and bike. I am a huge NFL, college football and college basketball fan and am regularly both an Active Spectator and Passive Spectator. Throughout my life, athletics have been a form of expression, excitement, entertainment and certainly exercise. I always identified myself as an athlete and expressed my self accordingly. I fed my need for adrenaline and excitement through athletics and also used them to entertain myself. Last but not least I have kept my body in shape by regularly participating in sports.
