] Date Posted: 19:24:37 02/04/11 Fri In reply to: cuious 's message, "Re: carnies books" on 23:19:14 02/03/11 Thu I own both of Carnie's book and own her cookbook also. I read Gut Feelings a really enjoyed it and think it's a great read for seeing a personal side of Carnie. I have not read "I'm Still Hungry" yet even though I got it when it was first released. I'm quite ashamed to admit I haven't read it yet, but I don't doubt it will keep my eyes glued. Even my Mom read "Gut Feelings" and enjoyed it. Cussing and all. :) No book can be a Carnie book without the potty mouth! Love it! Sorry for the delay in posting this, hope it helps. Date Posted: 20:17:36 02/04/11 Fri I just very recently read I'm Still Hungry for the second time. The first time was the day I got it delivered it my house in early 2004; I sat and read the entire thing in 45 minutes, which was easy since the printing was bigger and (most of*) the chapters are shorter than the ones in Gut Feelings. And, yes, the potty mouth is in this one as well; there's one part in the book that I'm sure will make you laugh and say "that's Carnie." [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
