All that “No Fair” said is not unexpected, and the problems are not only about the difference btw. WP and Mariah at star size, musical success and publicity. But OK it’s about funding, and funding comes from people or companies that can predict their benefits of this. Mariah's name is”huge" money making machine still, and she is very talented also. What our problems are? 1. Our first problem is the people from Sony, I like Sony but as electronic equipment and I think that the SonyMusic blabla put the third-rate stuff to look around, planning, cares and managing CIH record and advertisement of it, some kind of 18 to 25 years old kids that have no idea who the WP are (were), what their power is, and what message WP music brings. Simply look at the official website, a nice colored but standard CMS generated dynamic content platform, with what? With few pictures and lack of any valuable information, that they (Sony) should have it. 2. Second huge Sony problem is to define the potential target group of customers. OK if you are the third-rate stuff 18 to 25 y. fellow (brought up with Spice girls, Britney Sp and other commercial stuff) hang about the social networks all day long, and what you will create “Oh yea lets look at the social networks we will promoting there” but what’s happening with the search engine indexing “search engine what???”. And You’ll hope that these people will look at the web site references and server statistics or to analyze search engine requests……. I am disappointed of this approach; it is not a good sign. The social networks are not the universal solution for advertisement, even worst. Personally I reject any attempt and invitation to be subscribed to f**kbook or t*eether 3. The third problem: What a “clever” idea to reunite WP with Christmas record, in this competition environment, if you want funding and sales of course. For me this record is great but we are the hardcore WP fans, for us every WP stuff is great. It takes me to think that probably they don’t want good sales for now. 4. WP fans community is built by good but only a small number of people, how many are we here 20? OK but some one will said “No look at the social networks we are hundreds”. Mistake! If some one click on “I like this” doesn’t matter that he is a WP fan or will buy CIH CD. We have lack of admirers’ power, and this is not unusual but this is another long story. 5. WP has no adequate management at all. In conclusion I will say only this: Great talented artists, brilliant voices, unique valuable art, stupid marketing and advertisement, inappropriate moment, weak admirers’ community, age and time, world economical crisis, and ruin of the peoples value system. But seriously, Mariah's music video for her new Xmas song is already out. Where is WP's? I'm still hoping that they will have more appearances. GMA and the View are not going to be enough.
