What alternative do you offer for a woman who does not want to give birth? Force her to raise the child? Get the child adopted? If that's the case, how's about we shove a melon through your arse and give you nothing for it at the end. You'd soon change your moral stance.

Women should have found out they are pregnant by about 8-10 weeks. In my opinion, abortions after this are wrong unless there is proof that the child will have a seriously dabilitating illness.

As for the moral side of killing a human being, if that's the case then periods are wrong as cells that would become babies are being lost. At what point do we draw the line? Are you going to say that as soon as the two cells merge there's life? If you believe that then you should get back into your pickup truck and keep looking for Elvis. (I hear he's just been seen in a remote stretch of Alaska - you should go now to avoid disappointment.)

Seriously think about what you are saying before saying it. If you choose not to abort, all's well, but don't go throwing your opinions round on other people. That will lead to far more deaths than abortions will. (If you don't believe me, ask any Jew who survived a certain post 1939 - pre 1945 era.)
