Message from Katie Sheen, U11's Freddie's mum;-

I am opening a new office for the largest brain tumour charity in the UK, the Samantha Dickson Research Trust, in Bramhall over these next few weeks and am looking for help to keep the costs as low as possible. Specifically, I'd really appreciate some suggestions as to where would be good places to try for either free or good deals on 3 computers and a phone system, along with recommendations of reliable local companies whom we could use for the maintenance of those systems.

I'm also looking for a full time member of staff; someone who will be responsible for the administration of the office, but also keen to get involved with both fundraising and the organisation of our new national Telephone Support Network for patients and carers. The job advert isn't written yet, (I only found the offices yesterday!) but if anyone out there knows of somebody who would like to know more, it would be great to hear from them.

People can find out more about the charity's work at www.astrofund.org.uk and www.sdrt.co.uk ; I'll be at the U11 match on Sunday but then away Mon- Sat for half term, but back after that and contactable on 0161 929 1505.

Many thanks,
Katie Sheen
