Hi, my name is Pamela Benson, but before marriage was Pamela Shaw, my parents were Stan and Flo Shaw, we lived in Leafield Road, Hunts Cross, Mum and Dad worked at Distillers/Penicillin, Bees Seeds, Evans Medical Supplies, and E.R. Squibbs. What I really would like to know is: Does anybody remember Speke Baptist Church when it was a little wooden hut at the end of (not sure whether it was Eastern or Western Ave) I remember getting (I think!!) the no. 80 bus from Hunts Cross, Sunday mornings, then back to sunday school in the afternoon, then back again for church at night. After church at night we would go around to the choir masters house, all I can remember was that his name was Cliff, and he had a sister called Millie. You know, they were the happiest days of my life, we used to go on trips with church to Llangollen and Llandudno at eastertime, I would really love to hear from anybody who attended this church around 1951 to 1956. Thanks, Pam Benson,. nee Shaw
