Good morning,

I came across your website whilst looking for contacts for our current project ('People's Stories: Liverpool Lives'). If you could possibly contribute yourself or know of anyone that would be interested, then it would be great if you could get back to us. Here is an outline of the project:

Hurricane Films, is a Liverpool based film company, which most recently achieved a Bafta nomination in 2009 for ‘Of Time and the City’, a documentary film on the history of Liverpool which was produced by Hurricane and directed by Terence Davies.

As the interest and success of ‘Of Time and the City’ spread there was a large take up on the site of individuals and communities uploading images and telling stories of their upbringing in post war Liverpool.

Our new project ‘People’s Stories’ is a follow on project inspired by the huge interest shown on the 'Of Time and the City.’ community site.

Hurricane Films are looking for contributors who have interesting memories and true stories to tell from post war Liverpool.

‘People’s Stories’ will focus on the themes of neighbourhoods, health, home and happiness in post war Liverpool.

This will be an internet-based project and we will accept your home movies, photographs and stories as well as filming local Liverpool interviews in July and August.

If you are interested please contact us:

matthew@hurricanefilms.co.uk or info@hurricanefilms.co.uk
or (0151) 707 9700
or via Facebook at www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/group.php?gid=133622113319894&ref=ts

Thanks for your time and any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated,

Kind regards,

Matthew
