I had kind of expounded at embarrassing length about both the things you mention when this topic came up here before (last year, maybe?), and I didn't want to bore people by repeating myself. LOL.

Allowing someone else to cancel her wasn't even an option. No *way*. And working under Nikita (or a pro-Nikita Jones, for that matter) wasn't an option either. I was trying to answer something else, more along the lines of, why suicide instead of trying to escape or find a way to fight back?
